My 1st cake made for the cake slicers---Pumpkin cake--It was fun to but I dont like chocolate so it taste ok. Many people at work loved it. Kids didnt like it--Hubby said it was ok---So this is something Iwill not be making again unless work request it. Cant wait to make the next cake.
Nice job on your first cake. Maybe, if you try it again, you could leave out the chocolate chips. I did like them but I think the cake would be just as good without the chocolate.

ReplyDeleteYou say in your first post that you make chocolates - why do you do that if you don't like chocolate? I could never be someone who makes hings just for others. I want a taste of everything too! Hmmm maybe I need to work on my selfishness. Don't get me wrong, I love to share but I need a little taste for me too.
At least people at work liked it :) I loved it and will definitely be making it again.

ReplyDeleteJust like the others, I would recommend making the cake, without the addition of nuts and chocolate. I thought it was good but they kind of interfered with the pumpkin taste.
